The Heinrich Boell Foundation organized on the 8th of March 2010 a two days international symposium in Berlin about ‘Transformation of Palestine - the Palestinians after 60 years of Al Nakba’. The highly perceived event had several roundtable discussions as well as two main panel discussions which were open to the public. Topics were among others the life under occupation, the political division of politics in Palestine, democracy in Palestine as well as the vision for a Palestinian state. Besides Palestinian academics from The Palestinian territories, international experts like John Ging (UNWRA/GAZA),or Dr. Muriel Asseburg (Berlin) and many more shared their analysis and statement with the audience.
